Ministry Staff

Pastor Amanda came to Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church/Taborspace to serve as the Head of Staff in the fall of 2023.

She is an Oregon native. She has journeyed throughout the United States and abroad, serving churches in New Jersey, Northern Ireland, North Carolina, and Illinois before finding her way back to PDX. 

She is a coffee addict and book lover, who delights in the rain and puddle jumping. 

She has a passion for walking beside people regardless of where they are in their journey of faith or spirituality and aspires to fall into holy mischief whenever possible.

She believes there is great hope amid the rubble  of our broken world and that building community and engaging in conversation where we share and listen to one another’s stories is the path forward for our collective reconcilliation and thriving.  

When she isn’t drinking coffee or envisioning new community connections at Mt. Tabor Pres./ Taborspace she enjoys adventuring with her two kids and husband, playing soccer, and finding new pilgrimage routes to hike.
